PPR buys former Barclays Bank, Crouch End, London in £6m project
PPR Estates (PPR) confirms the acquisition of 8 The Broadway, Crouch End, London in £6m re-generation project. The Grade II Listed building was originally built as part of the historic Hornsey Town Hall development in the 1930’s and comprises circa 7,600sqft of commercial space (GIA) over the ground and first floor.
Having been vacant since Barclays Bank closed this branch in early 2024, PPR look forward to restoring this Art Deco building and bringing it back into viable use in an environmentally and socially useful way.
Jon Caplan, MD of PPR Comments: “We are excited to acquire this prime high street site asset and look forward to working with all our stakeholders to bring it back to life very soon. We are already working with potential new occupiers and local Planners to ensure the site has a sustainable future that meets Crouch End’s needs. This type of prime commercial London site fits PPR’s Town Centre fund criteria perfectly.”
