PPR agree long Lease extension for Boots Pharmacy in Oxted, Surrey

PPR Estates (PPR) is pleased to confirm that Boots have extended their retail and pharmacy lease on Oxted High Street, Surrey to 2035. The long lease extension agreed (12 years with no break clause) reflects the post-pandemic trading resilience of Oxted High Street and Boots’ commitment to providing uninterrupted chemist services to this type of local area. All PPR’s retail units on this busy parade are now fully let to 2030 and beyond.

Jon Caplan, PPR’s MD, said: ‘We are pleased to have agreed lease extension to 2035 with Boots for their Oxted, Surrey store. The human and physical aspects of the high street are definitely here to stay, despite the widespread gloom in the media! Boots were very keen to secure their long-term local dispensary and pharmacy presence in this neighbourhood high street. PPR saw our overall rent roll increase across our high street portfolio in South East England last year, as testimony to our hard work and data driven investment strategy.”
