PPR agree Lease extension with Uniqlo in Kingston upon Thames

PPR Estates (PPR) are pleased to confirm that Uniqlo Clothing will continue to anchor our Clarence Street Kingston site with a 10-year Lease extension to September 2033 now agreed. All PPR’s retail units on this busy parade are fully let to 2030 and beyond, underpinning the resilience of our selective high street investment strategy over the last few years.

PPR’s MD, Jon Caplan, added “We are delighted to have agreed terms for Uniqlo to stay for the foreseeable future at this busy location in the heart of Kingston upon Thames. Their customers clearly continue to value the human and physical aspects of Uniqlo’s retail stores. Our analytical & data driven investment in carefully selected high street locations with high footfall and excellent amenities is proving to drive both investment value and revenue with retail rents (ERV’s) trending slightly upwards this year across our portfolio.”
