PPR appointed to Parliamentary Liaison Group Advisory Board for Regen. & Levelling Up

PPR Estates (PPR) is delighted to confirm our appointment to the Advisory Board for the new Parliamentary Liaison Group (PLG) for Regeneration & Levelling Up. Nick Hopkinson, Director & Co-Founder of PPR, will continue our work participating in the Parliamentary meetings to represent SME property investor/ developers.

Nick Hopkinson added: ‘PPR are delighted to be representing SME developer landlords on the newly formed PLG Advisory Board for Regeneration & Levelling Up. The challenges around planning, regeneration and delivering the places that UK PLC needs are formidable. I look forward to helping MP’s and political decision makers better understand the issues and risks that SME’s face in developing the much-needed houses and urban regeneration we all want. The list is long, including: an ever-worsening housing shortage crisis, poor housing affordability, Nutrient Neutrality problems, ESG challenges for commercial property, structural changes to the office and retail markets, a failing Planning system, and inadequate Local Authority resources. Better mutual awareness of both policy trends and real-world experience between MP’s and industry can only help!”
